I have a connection with a gay bar (Ty's) in the Village and I wanted to see if there was any interest in a weekly Monday Night Football get together. I'm pretty sure my friend the bar manager would be open to it. The drinks are cheap and if we got enough people, we might be able to do food as well.

While Ty's may not be the most happening of spots, its a friendly bar. The TV can be seen from anywhere in the room. And Monday's, as you would expect, are not very busy.

Any interest? If so, are you interested in a weekly event? Or maybe we could do it once a month? I don't know, thats why I'm asking you.

I'd enjoy it, but I'm about 50 miles out east on Long Island. I think the best I could swing in there would be monthly. Keep us posted. Pete

I would definitely be interested. I usually watch MNF at a bar anyway.

I'm interested as well. I don't know if I can do every Monday night, but at least once or twice a month.

Also, I hope we can continue to go to the Hangar (or elsewhere) for some Sundays as well.

I spoke to my friend at the bar and he is happy to have us. So I think what I'll do is pick one game early in the season and see what kind of a turnout we get. Which game would you be most interested in as our inaugural get together?

Sept. 23-Rams at Buccaneers

Steelers - Pats is probably the best game of the three......
