Pioneering Musician Isaac Hayes Found Dead

Shut yo mouth!! A real legend in the music business who was reintroduced to a whole new generation as Chef in South Park. RIP Isaac.

His version of "Never Can Say Goodbye" was pretty amazing. The great thing about art is that it can keep your legacy alive. Isaac's will surely live on.

Isaac Hayes and Bernie Mac on the same weekend. Sad. But how can you not smile when you think of:

He lost some major cool points with me when he got all pissed at the creators of South Park because they picked on Tom Cruise and Scientology and quitting the show. I guess he was fine with the mocking of Catholics, Jews, blacks, whites, Hispanics, gays and just about every other group under the sun but make fun of Scientology and THAT'S crossing the line. And the way they killed off his Chef character was just brilliantly brutal.

I did like a whole lot of his music though.
