The coach of the U.S. team is Terry Schroeder, who competed in the Olympics in the eighties and is now the coach of the Stanford team. In his prime, he was the model for the statues outside the LA stadium for the '84 Games. The sculptor believed that he had the best body to represent the athleticism of the Games.
