Let's see how good (or more likely bad) we are at predicting what will happen this season...division winners, standing, playoff teams, Super Bowl winner.

The Falcon's predictions, assuming no major injuries:
AFC North- Steelers. They have less issues than anyone else in their division and their power running game is revitalized with Mendenhall.
#2 Browns. They'll make strides and challenge the Steelers once again. They'll also fall short once again.
#3 Ravens. Poor Joe Flacco. I hope he gets used to losing.
#4 Bengals. They're just a hot mess right now.
AFC East- Patriots. I don't know who else can take it from them.
#2 Bills. I'd like to see them make the playoffs. Maybe they'll be happy with a winning record. If they were in the NFC, they'd be in the postseason.
#3 Jets. Should've stayed retired, Brett. The fans in New York aren't as patient as the fans in Green Bay.
#4 Dolphins. New quarterback, same division. Maybe two more wins.
AFC South- Colts, but the Jaguars will make it interesting. This will not be a runaway.
#2 Jags. The loss of Stroud will hurt more than people think.
#3 Texans. This is the year they'll go above .500. Too bad they're in a tough division.
#4 Titans. They'll also go above .500. See Bills, Texans.
AFC West- Chargers, but the same holds true for Denver as for the Jaguars.
#2 Broncos. Now that Jay Cutler has his diabetes under control, he'll guide the Broncos to the playoffs.
#3 Raiders. They have a running game. That's about all I can say for them.
#4 Chiefs. So-so quarterback + porous defense = putrid record.
AFC Wild Cards- Jags, Broncos.
AFC Champs- Steelers. The Chargers and Pats dominate their divisions, but I think teams have figured out the Pats. They won't collapse like the Raiders did after their Super Bowl loss, but I don't see them running the table this year. The Chargers have a fantastic defense and a solid running game, but we'll see how Gates's foot holds out this year. The Steelers' O-Line will hold up, even with the new players.
NFC North-Packers. Rodgers will step into Favre's shoes nicely.
#2 Vikings. Should've pushed harder to get Favre.
#3 Lions. Too bad Tatum Bell didn't steal their playbook. They might have actually improved.
#4 Bears. The QB situation is like having to choose between sleeping with George Bush or Dick Cheney.
NFC East- Cowboys. Sorry, Joe, the Cowboys are too good on both sides of the ball. The addition of Adam Jones makes them even better. If he can stay out of trouble, I can see them going very far this year.
#2 Giants. Good first game. Too bad they can't play the 'Skins 15 more times.
#3 Eagles. With Reid's seat getting warmer, McNabb has to keep his composure cool and his legs whole. On the plus side, we'll get to see the DeSean Jackson highlight reel on "SportsCenter".
#4 Redskins. Poor, poor Jim Zorn. He should have stayed slightly under the radar as the coordinator. Now all of the blame falls on him.
NFC South- Saints. Jeremy Shockey just saved their offense.
#2 Bucs. Their defense will help them, but Garcia, Dunn and Galloway are getting older.
#3 Panthers. Maybe Steve Smith can punch opponents instead of teammates.
#4 Falcons. The quarterback and coaching merry-go-round continues. The rest of the team is fighting off nausea.
NFC West- Cardinals. It's a weak division, but the Cards can win if they keep Warner healthy and starting. They also need to deal with the Boldin situation by keeping him happy and on the team. If one of these things fall apart, it's going to be another long year in the desert.
#2 Seahawks. Injuries to their receiving corps will cause one of the nicest coaches in the NFL to make a quiet exit.
#3 Rams. Steven Jackson held out for 27 days. Their defense has been holding out longer than that.
#4 49ers. I don't even know where to begin. They had the worst passing offense in the league last year. They hand the keys to J.T. O'Sullivan, who was brought in by Mike Martz. The Luck of the Irish won't be enough.
NFC Wild Cards- Bucs and Giants. The Bucs are good, but their lack of a marquee RB is going to hurt them. The Giants dominated the 'Skins in Week 1, but the loss of Strahan will cause their defense to struggle against teams not owned by Dan Snyder.
NFC Champs-Cowboys. See previous analysis.
Superbowl: Steelers over Cowboys. It's a rematch of Superbowl XXX. The Steelers are pretty good at avenging losses.
