I tried to add a comment to your article on the Costas interview with Rogge. I was responding to another comment. Your spam blocker said my comment was spam. What qualifies as spam here? I don't understand I didn't try to sell anything, I just attempted to provide my views. It makes me a bit uneasy to see a comment that I was writing that was criticizing Communist China be prohibited as "spam." Someone please explain.

Did you have a link to a website in your comment? that's the only reason I can think of.

Nope. I was able to post my comment on Michael Phelps' looks the other day. Now, I am suddenly having problems.

Maybe just a glitch in the system. I'd try posting it again.

I got that message, too, while adding a comment on the Outsports blog. I think it's just a glitch. (Either that, or because my comment was refuting the points of my good buddies Jim & Cyd and they considered my post spam. wink.gif )Refresh the page and try again.

I approved that message. The spam filter is automated and often catches stuff that is not spam; I OK them eventually.

How about the comments on the post about Bob Griese's suspension? Bunch of right-wing trolls. Shouldn't they be flagged for spam? laugh.gif
