Now that Summer is unofficially over, I'd like your opinions on some things:

Here are mine:

Favorite Movie? Mamma Mia - I loved this movie. It was so entertaining. I left the theater wanting more.

Worst movie: Indiana Jones - I wanted this to be better than it was.

Favorite Song? I Kissed a Girl - pure fun

Favorite Concert?: True Colors Concert Tour with Cyndi Lauper, the B52's, Andy Bell and Joan Jett

Favorite Sporting Event?: The Swimming Events at the Olympics - a few awesome endings, that were exciting seeing live. A close second is Nadal and Federer - Wimbledon Final

Favorite Book?: I didn't read any this Summer.

Favorite Trip?: South Padre Island / Mexico - Memorial Day Weekend

Favorite Experience?: New places to go. Experimenting with new drinks. Who knew Patron and the Three Wise Men could be so delicious.

Favorite Movie Experience: Watching Sex & the City, opening weekend in NYC, with a crowd of women and 4 gay men ... most enthusiastic crowd ever. I had to watch it a 2nd time to catch all the jokes because those ladies were sooooo loud.

Best sports moment: Combo of swimming and gymnastics during the first week of the Olympics.

I think Seattle bypassed Summer and went directly into Fall We probably only had three weekends of nice, hot summer weather. At least we had a nice, sunny Pride Sunday. Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful summer.
