Guys, my sister managed to get
Troy Aikman's autograph for me when the Cowboys played Cleveland last week and Troy worked in the booth for FOX! I can't wait to turn 34 in a few weeks!

What an awesome gift. Jay, you have a wonderful sister, to have her think of you like this.

Yeah, it was pretty thoughtful. My dad told me today since they aren't going to send it to me because it could get lost in the mail. Troy actually signed a photograph so I'll have to get it framed for my home office this Christmas. It's obviously not as cool as him retiring in 2001 and running into me in New York City and getting married and moving to Paris to raise children adopted from around the world, but it is a very, very close second.

I got to my parents house on Friday. I didn't think about it until my sister came home today and said, "Did you look at your picture?" I went and dug it out of my bedroom drawer and there he was...my Troy. I teared up a bit. It came at a good time too considering our season.

......................when those close to me don't call or send me gifts and repect that every day we live should be celebrated.
......................when those close to me send me birthday gifts 6, 10, 11, etc. months before my birthday because they just can't let my birthday go. I love them hard!
