Bingham Cup Registration Deadlines

You have two weeks left in the current registration cycle to sign up for the 2006 Bingham Cup and take advantage of the current pricing. The deadline is April 30, 2006. You can either sign up through the registration website or by downloading the paper form and mailing it in with your payment. If you opt to mail your payment in, it must be postmarked by April 30, 2006.

If you register and do not pay for your registration by April 30, 2006, you will be moved to the next registration cycle and the higher dollar amount. Additionally, if you registered in the Early Registration Cycle and still have not paid, please do so now or your registration will also be moved to the final cycle and the higher price.

Pitch Location and Transportation

We have received a few inquiries about the field location and concerns that they are not easily accessible by public NYC transportation.

The fields we are using are located on Randall's Island under the Triborough Bridge which connects Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx. If you are staying at the Roosevelt Hotel, our host hotel, you will walk approximately one and a half blocks to Grand Central Station where you can take the express train uptown three stops. From there, you will go up to the street level where you will immediately find the bus stop that will take you across the Triborough Bridge to the Island. Based on a trip done this week during peak rush hour traffic, it took 38 minutes to get from the hotel to the island.

Additionally, we have worked with the Randall's Island Sports Foundation and the Metropolitan Transit Authority to get increased bus and train service for the tournament weekend.

Barbarian Players

Calling all barbarian players...don't belong to an IGRAB team? There's still a place for you at the Bingham Cup! Become a member of the World Barbarian Team or join up with one of the member teams in need of assistance to fill out their side this year.
