Watching the Giants-Seahawks game right now, I noticed Daryl "Moose" Johnston, former fullback for Dallas. God, I loved seeing him play. And, boy, is he still a looker!

Would love to take that woman's place!

FOX Sports has a lock on good-looking former players working for them...

Howie Long:

Damn Icepack is in the way!
Hall of Famer

Michael Strahan:

The trademark gap-toothed grin!
If only a little higher...

OMG! Daryl Johnston is so friggin' hot I'd be his slave anytime. I also get aroused when I see Troy Aikman commentating, looking so dapper in his suit and tie, but more so when his tie is loosened and his sleeves are rolled up. He's another one I'd cater to his every need.

Another hot commentator is Mark Schlereth on ESPN. He looks so handsome in his suits and ties on there, with that rugged, manly face and goatee.

i'd kill to see some skin of him and kirk herbstreit

Kirk H, is hot, no doubt. And I like Mark Schlereth too.

Mark May is a BEAUTIFUL man.

Still have to stick with my picks from last year's thread:

1. Steve Phillips--ESPN Baseball Tonight
2. Brian Baldinger--NFL Network
3. Mark Schlereth- ESPN Football
4. Jay Bilas--ESPN College Basketball
5. Matt Vasgersian--Fox NFL/Padres Broadcaster
OldSchoolBoy75
Mmmm; Steve Phillips is another fave of mine. Years back, when I was a teenager and watching football games on TV, I also liked Bob Trumpy and Sam Wyche.
OldSchoolBoy75
Another man I want to add to my list of dreamy commentators is Barry Switzer. Yesterday, I saw him on the Fox NFL Post Game show, and as always, looking so dapper andf handsome in his suit and tie. I wish Troy Aikman and Daryl Johnston would consider transferring to a studio because I'd rather see more of them than the game itself! Another great discovery was my local sports channel airing Pro Football Weekly again (which I haven't seen in my area in years). Former Chicago Bear Dan Hampton is one of the hosts, and he is another fave of mine, and looks so hot still!
Carew
I like Jack Edwards, who's sometimes a hockey commentator for the Boston Bruins.
Texas Daytripper
Former Houston Rocket and now Rocket TV Analyst.... Matt Bullard. This pic does not do him justice.

He's cute. Today Daryl Johnston was doing play-by-play for the Jets/Rams game. He is one beautiful man!
mets57
steve philips was so hot when he was the mets GM.
OldSchoolBoy75
Oh yes! Steve Phillips is now on ESPN, and although I don't see him as much as I should, salt-and-pepper haired men with piercing blue eyes are gorgeous! Always thought Phillips was hot!

Cool to see another Mets fan here too! smile.gif

Aside from the Jets pulling off an amazing victory last night (congrats to the Jets!), what a treat it was to see Mark Schlereth do overtime on both SportsCenter and NFL Live post-game (ESPN). He looked so hot in his dark chalk pinstripe suit and light orange creamsicle-colored necktie. And even better was that Mark was seated on one side of a center table with a newscaster so we get to see more of Mark other than his hunky front. This morning, Mark was on the Mike & Mike show (ESPN2) wearing a very nice black/gray/white paisley shirt with sleeves rolled up a little, showing off his wrists. I was looking to see if he was hairy but I couldn't tell because my TV is so small. Thank God I still have my VCR! wink.gif
jerseyguy
I saw that segment with Schlereth on M&M. He did look good. I get the feeling he's not very hairy.
OldSchoolBoy75
I don't think he is, either, but I think he's an intensely hot man. I also love to watch Dan Hampton on "Pro Football Weekly". There's something about these tall, manly, dark-haired hunks that drives me crazy.

omg Kirk Herbstreit is so wub.gif

Craig James of ESPN is quite a stunner!

Moose Blue Eyes are so dreamy.
OldSchoolBoy75
Mmmmm I take it you saw last night's bowl game on Fox too. Daryl Johnston looked so hot as always, especially when they came back from halftime and he was in the booth with his suit jacket off. Just wish they'd replace Kenny Albert with, say, Troy Aikman or Barry Switzer. Sigh! smile.gif
lex
i wasn't able to watch it since some of the NFL games are not shown here in the Philippines. Moose and Aikman would be a great tandem. 2 foxy athletes.
MiamiSpartan
I turned on Fox just in time to see them doing a preview of the Fiesta Bowl, and one of the announcers for the game is pretty damn hot....Not sure who it is, but he is tall, brunette with a goatee....
OldSchoolBoy75
I think the guy in question is Tim Ryan, but I know he does NFL games on Fox.
MiamiSpartan
BINGO!!!! laugh.gif

I didn't realize it was the same Tim Ryan who played for the Bears...
His playing weight was 6'4", 268 lbs!! Monster of the Midway!!

Am I the only one who thinks that Joe Buck should be added to this list? And what about Criss Collinsworth? These blonde bombshell sportscasters are as apppealing to my eyes as are all the other guys that were mentioned. And, besides, I really love the name Joe Buck!!!!!! It is his real last name!!!!!!YOWZAH!!!!!!

Joe Buck is also the name of the main character in "Midnight Cowboy." The character, played by Jon Voight, was a young man from Texas who went to New York to seek his fortune as a gigolo.

If you haven't seen it, you really should rent it. Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight were excellent. Also, back then Jon Voight was HOT, and "Midnight Cowboy" is the first big Hollywood studio movie to receive an X rating.
Texas Daytripper
Former Astros manager, Art Howe, is now doing the Astros Pregame show.

He's still a very handsome man.

Merril Hoge is smoking hot.

Jon Gruden looks hot tonight on MNF. He's in gray slacks, sitting with his legs wide open.

Have you all seen the NFL Network's new morning promo? There's a shot of a shirtless Kurt Warner, in a long towel. tongue.gif

That man still looks good.

I just saw Jeremy Bloom, during the UH / Rice game, working as a sideline reporter.

I take it he's working for Fox Sports. He's still looking good.

Kirk Herbstriet. How would I molest thee? Let me count the ways.
sportinlife
The rugby version of Herbstriet would be Brian Hightower. The William and Mary alum who was a back for the USA Eagles from 1997 to 1999. Relatively little at 5' 8" but packs a cute wallop.
IPB Image
He didn't pick France for the finals but got New Zealand right as the winner. Here's a rather sexy blurred screen cap of him
IPB Image
Apparently he was still with the Eagles in 2000. Have to agree wholeheartedly with his assessment that the current Eagles squad have had ballhandling problems but not sure that I'd use the metaphor of "having girl problems". True soft hands make better catching mitts, so you catch rather than bat the ball. But you wouldn't want to smash into someone carrying your girl then hand her off out of the ruck as soon as you're tackled. Hightower (far left) at a reunion of William and Mary rugby alums.
IPB Image
And on the left indulging in the ruggers favorite passtime. (Yes, ruggers drink wine - don't all real men? wink.gif )
