I absolutely can’t stand the look or especially the feel of those so called “Technical Suits”. Many swimmers often refer to them as “body condoms” or “taking a bath with your clothes on”.

Whether you’re Str8 or Gay, watching someone swim in one of those horrid things is like watching someone bite into a juicy lemon: You can’t separate the visual effect from the actual sensation.

Accordingly, I have started a mini campaign to prod sponsors of swimming events to bring back the conventional Speedo:

Why not just make all swimmers swim naked to "even the playing field?"

Most swimmers wouldn't object, I would think. Gay male and Australian diver
Matthew Mitcham won the gold medal in 10m diving, stopping a Chinese sweep
of the sport and raising his international profile. I don't think this gold medal winner
would mind swimming naked. (I don't know about diving naked from 10m, though).

Spiderman and Batman make it look so easy.
