Hey Joe and Falconpride - if you get bored with Cobalt Sat night, stop by the Eagle (639 New York Ave, NW. My club is working the beer bar and it should be e fun night.

I've gone to this tournament twice and both times it was pretty miserable weather-wise. First time was maybe 1990 or so and our first game was at 9am and it was 40 degrees. The second time was two years ago (I think) and it just poured rain on Friday so they wanted to paly 1/2 hour games where evrybody started with a full count so you would get one pitch. We decided to just drink the weekend away and had a grand old time!

I wish you had posted this before I left Friday. Cobalt wasn't a big hit with those from our team who made it there.

Weather was perfect, fortunately. Our team was far from perfect, unfortunately. Still had some fun, though.

I had fun this weekend. I would've had more fun had I not been riding the bench all damn weekend. Maybe I should have been riding something else this weekend, like that manager from Nellie's.
