A good analysis of the reasons the Republicans lost this presidential election
in this local internet news site. However one of the six points he makes is particularly important IMO:
QUOTE
Republicans in the White House and Congress are primarily responsible for the tax policies behind the largest redistribution of private wealth in the nation's history; the rich get richer and the poor get poorer while the middle class has steadily been getting squeezed out of existence.
Without that wealth transfer I doubt that any of the others would have been enough to overcome the Republican smear-and-dodge tactics that won them the last two elections, and a few before.
A little advice for VPOTUS-elect Joe Biden at dinner with our illustrious second-commander-in-chief:
1 -
Don't drink the tea.2 -
Don't open that gift card. And if he gives you a gift to take back to POTUS-elect Barrack Obama, have it tested. I know you won't be a rude guest and remind him of his
past, but at least let him know that the rest of us haven't forgotten it. Oh, and take a nice bottle of wine. It's always the thing to do. And watch him really closely as he takes that very first sip....
