After reading the Sports pages of the newspapers the past two mornings and following my hometown teams (NY Giants and NY Jets), I have become intrigued by the question just how much a quarterback can influence a team. Eli Manning did not play his best this past weekend, but the Giants had a great offensive line. As for the Jets, Favre has lit a fire in the bellies of his teammates. I am eager to see how they'll play next week against the 10-0 Titans under Collins. I liked Collins when he was with the Giants. He had turned a corner in his personal life, and I'm glad that he's found a good fit with the Titans. I'm giving the edge to Collins, who has the better team. As for the Giants and Cardinals, Warner has experience over Manning, but the Giants have the better team.

So, leadership must be present, but it can only go so far. How do you think the match ups for Week 12 will go? I'm pretty sure I have the the starters correct. In no particular order:

Fitzpatrick (Bengals) and Roethlisberger (Steelers)
Rosenfels (Texans) and Quinn (Browns)
