And of course that also means that poor Sarah Palin is stuck in Alaska for the next several years.
Thank Gawd!!!! That means that wench face Sarah Palin will have to marinate in Alaska for the next few years. I'm sure her butt tries to stay relevant, but this is going to make a 2012 run all that more tough I think with her not being so much on the national scene the way she would have been had she gotten Teddy boy's senate seat.
I hear she is going to write a book, so with book signings and tv interviews she won't disappear entirely. Surely though she should actually read a book before attempting to write one, you betcha.

Back to Mark Begich, does anyone know anything about his politics? Any Alaskans on the board? Where on the relative Democratic Party scale does he fall? Is he more to the Ben Nelson (very conservative Democrat) or the Dick Durbin (very liberal/progressive Democrat) end of the scale?
