Illini n Milwaukee did an outstanding job at starting two of the most popular threads on this board. With an appreciative nod to him and in the spirit of starting new threads, here are a few faces from the NFL of the past:

Good-Looking Mormon Man

Staring Down Defeat

I still have an obsessive crush on that handsome man! smile.gif

Bittersweet ending to Bledsoe's career in New England.
He would have been regarded by fans fondly had he retired then.
Instead, he went on to suck big time in Buffalo, then Dallas. IPB Image

Classic Bledsoe Dropback, before the sack.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Drew (ignore the brother and the old man)

Little known fact: Johnny Unitas had a really cute butt

And those old-fashioned unis actually did show it off, with that sexy shirttail stuffed in.

Ah, the good ole days, when the Colts were in Balt'mer, crabs were plenaful, and fresh ersters were so common a poor man could stuff himself on 'em.

doug flutie has an amazing hairy chest.

very sexy.

And definitely don't forget that legendary Bronco Ed McCaffrey.

He was not only a great wide receiver(and I'm a Panthers fan!), but, IMHO, one of the best looking men ever to put on a football uniform!

Not sure what happened to my previous Drew Bledsoe post but here are some more pics.

IPB Image

Not quite shirtless but almost there...
IPB Image

This particular pic of Drew makes him look like Matt Ryan.
IPB Image

With Brady in 2001 when he was injured. Nice bulge.

Bledsoe has aged well. And a stable family life probably has a lot to do with it since his career has not exactly skyrocketed. He has a lot of good memories though, like this 2001 AFC trophy:

IPB Image

Unfortunately, like a lot of Americans with big bank accounts and little investment savvy, he got caught up in some nasty financial schemes due to some bad advice.

Hopefully he, and his family, can afford it. But the good causes he supported may suffer.

IPB Image

damm i've been waiting for that shirtless kurt warner pic for a decade! love the hairy chest! woof!!!
lex
mets: i wonder how his body looks now since he did slim down when he went to the cards. still, he looked good even when he's chunky.
mets57
i loved kurt as a ram, when he came to NY, and as a cardinal.

his two super bowl losses broke my heart!
Texas Daytripper
Bless you Lex for the Kurt Warner find. He had a nice bod. Gotta love a guy in just a towel.

Stumbled upon this the other day...can't imagine a calendar like this getting to press today. Hmmm...somehow it seems the NFL has become more prudish since 1993. Though, as evident in the cover, the proto-compression shorts gave most of the Hitters a bad case of Ken-crotch. Posted these on the 1001 Football Heroes site...here are the first 7. Enjoy!

IPB Image

January: Robert Awalt
Denver Broncos TE, 6' 5", 235 lbs
Another funny thing about these proto-compression shorts...on some of the guys (like here) they kinda look like grandma girdles.
IPB Image

February: Ken O'Brien
New York Jets QB, 6' 4", 210 lbs
IPB Image

March: Roger Craig
Minnesota Vikings RB, 6' 1", 210 lbs
IPB Image

April: Riki Ellison
Los Angeles Raiders LB, 6' 2", 230 lbs
IPB Image

May: Junior Seau
San Diego Charges LB, 6' 3", 250 lbs
IPB Image

June: Dennis Smith
Denver Broncos FS, 6' 3" lbs
IPB Image

Here are the last 6....

July: Steve Wright
Los Angeles Raiders DT, 6' 6", 280 lbs
IPB Image

August: Rod Woodson
Pittsburgh Steelers CB, 6' 0", 197 lbs
IPB Image

September: James Thorton
Chicago Bears TE, 6' 2", 242 lbs
IPB Image

October: Tommy Vardell
Cleveland Browns FB, 6' 2", 238 lbs
IPB Image

November: Steve Young
San Francisco 49ers QB, 6' 2", 200 lbs
IPB Image

December: Anthony Newman
Los Angeles Rams FS, 6' 0", 210 lbs

Okay, he only just retired a few years ago, but he did start his pro career in the mid 90's. Does that qualify as yesteryear? He's a hunk for sure though.
