I got most of them right away and then started drawing blanks. Eventually I got all but one before I ran out of time.

I thought I wasn't going to make it, because I got stuck on trying to recall three team names...Ducks, Devils and Hurricanes...but eventually got 'em all with 26 seconds to spare.

I don't even watch hockey, but I got 25 out of 30 with 45 seconds to spare. But then I couldn't get Pittsburgh (duh), New Jersey, Columbus and San Jose because I couldn't think of those cities, and Atlanta, which I knew, but couldn't remember their team name.

I got 25. Of the 5 that I couldn't remember 4 were newer teams.

I get to keep my Canadian Passport. All 30 - with 2 minutes and 20 seconds to spare!

Hey Eddie, I bet that fifth team you couldn't remember WASN'T the Red Wings.





I'm not in the habit of quoting myself, but it struck me afterwards that all three of these teams are recent Stanley Cup champions! I guess some champs are just more 'forgettable' than others? And yet I more easily remembered rather 'obscure' teams like the Thrashers and Blue Jackets.

As an aside, on the same site that Joe posted, there is a link to another five-minute challenge called 'Quarter Backs'. Despite the odd separation into two words, I assumed it would be a test of naming at least one QB from each of the 32 NFL teams this year. I knew I wouldn't get them all, but I thought I'd give it a try until I realized what this was about...and then I gave up before I even started!

So what was the "Quarter Backs" quiz about if it wasn't about NFL quarterbacks? Products that cost 75 cents, or x-dollars and 75 cents?

The one team I couldn't come up with, by the way, was the Nashville Predators.

It was the Thrashers,Coyotes,Hurricane,Sharks and Canucks. I was really shocked that I forgot the Canucks and the Sharks and equally shocked that none of you had a problem with the Thrashers!

Hey Blueraider. I would have had about the same time - but I couldn't think of the name 'Wild'. I knew the only team I had left was Minnesota. I could even picture their uniforms - but Wolves kept popping into my head - which I know is the basketball team - but it took me a good 30-40 seconds before Wild popped back into my head.

So you win that one - but hopefully my Leafs will beat your Sabres when you are in town tomorrow night for the Sabres game.

I got 29 out of 30 and forgot the Flyers.
