A date and we're all invited? Joe, you really don't need us to escort you on a date.

A date? I believe FeverDog may be spoken for. Besides, if I ever actually have a date, I'm certainly not going to invite anyone else along, because they'd probably get him drunk and leave with him... wink

I plan on joining you guys for a beer or 2. Someone needs to cover JIP's back -- he's quite a hit at the Stop eek!

The basement was shut down permanently after your visit. It's now a shrine to you and stinger.

I'll be there, but will get there early (7 PMsh). There is a band playing live at 9:30 PM at Bike Stop, I'll want to get out early before it gets too crowded. Besides, if I exit stage left early enough, Joe can figure out if its a date or not.... wink

Since I just found out about this thread I may decide to crash the party around 7 as well. After all I'd rather be with the scary people at the bar than the ones who will be knocking at my door. wink

They have the empty beer kegs, a $20 check made out to "Kerry for President" and a contraption that's been bronzed that is now dubbed the "sting sling." And a TV monitor is playing the movie "Booty Call" repeatedly. wink

Oh, here's the thread! I kept checking Non-Sports...
I'm coming with one or two non-Outsporters - a friend/ex-roommate/former co-worker and maybe also his oldest-and-dearest whom I've met several times. The more, the merrier. I'm not getting there too early because I may want to stay later. (I haven't seen a live band in ages, and never at the Stop.) So I won't get there until sometime after 8 at least.

Don't forget, we want to see pics tomorrow! Esp. those of us who will be spending Halloween at home alone handing out candy and Unicef money to neighborhood kids. Oh joy. frown

For reasons I can't figure out wink I agreed to go with my brother and his family to visit my mom, who lives in North Cape May, NJ (okay, it's because her birthday was a couple of days ago) -- and since we'll be leaving early to get back so their youngest can go trick-or-treating, I'll have lots of time in the car and a short time visiting, and then I'll get home and rush out the door to get to the Bike Stop. I'll miss watching the Eagles game live and I'm not sure when I'll get to eat. So I might be leaving early tonight just to go and eat before going home. And heaven knows what traffic to and from the Jersey shore will be like, plus we might run into pre- and post-game traffic. eek!

Sorry canmark, no pictures. I didn't take my camera. It was a fun time chatting with scottie, mdphl and phillyrunner...and it was good to finally meet FeverDog! Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to you before I left...after I said goodbye to mdphl I looked for you and couldn't find you.
Hope we can all get together again some time. Watching an Eagles game is a good possibility -- time and date pending mdphl's schedule.

Excellent seeing all the Philly guys again and meeting FeverDog (who now qualifies as a Philly guy). How does Nov 28th look for an Eagles game at the Stop?
Phillyrunner - any more questions about "tort reform"? wink

The game on the 28th is Eagles at Giants at 1 pm. It works for me, barring unforseen circumstances like stinger wanting his reward for post number 1000. wink

You mean you can arrange that private showing of hot girl on girl action...or you can make PF respect me?

It'd be nice if I actually lived in Philly again, but I guess I'm close enough. Perhaps I should change my profile...
Anyway, my friends made a quick exit after the band's first song (didn't they sound like Green-era REM?). Would have liked to stay longer, but without a car I'm at the mercy of those with one.

You need to kiss up to PF, i can 100% without a doubt get some hot chic on chic action going... yooooooo hooooooo calling DC... yoooooo hooooooo....
Dear Sting,
Start acting like a man, and i'll give you some respect. Act like a chic, you get treated like a chic should be treated...
G's Up... ho's down...

I had the same thought before I left. And they played another song that one of them (I guess the lead singer) said was from the now-canceled TV show "Ed." I left after their third song, which I think I've heard on Sirius OutQ's music show. If it weren't a Sunday night I might have stayed.

Oooooh! I wanna come! Since it's a kinda public place, you can't keep me out anyway.
(Yeah, you can ignore me, but let's be friends. At least at first.)
I'll wear one of my Bills Super Bowl t-shirts.
