I have seen a couple of mentions on the Internet that football player John Matuszak had AIDS or was HIV-positive when he died. Does anyone know anything for certain?

Was he "family?" I understand he posed for Playgirl ...

always heard that it was heart problems linked to excessive steroid use....

Weird, I heard that somehow caused him to develop VTach. Which is the strangest thing to happen since there really isn't proof it could happen.

Not sure if Matuszak was "family". I know he was dating some girlie mag model around the time he died. I'm sure he would switch hit if he wanted to because his lifestyle and personality was so unpredictable I think he'd do anything once (or twice or....). Never heard anything about him being gay or bi.
