We'll be relying on all of you - our readers and active members - to determine who moves on to the next round. Voting will start this Thursday, so check back then for more info!

Thanks to everyone for entering.

Are there bios for these groups? I'd like to know who they are, what type of community outreach they are involved with and their achievements in 2008.

Hmmm, I'll pass on this nonsense. Pretty hard to take it seriously (or even just for fun) when the biggest, or one of the biggest at the least, gay sports organizations in North America is omitted. (CMSA)

Did CMSA (and what does that stand for, by the way) nominate themselves?

Maddog, We'll have more info on each group when voting starts so you can make an educated decision - it will be on the blog and info will be listed right next to the voting module. We'll also have links to their Web sites so you can look into it.

Softballstud, All nominees were self-nominated. We emailed CMSA and asked them to participate, but we did not hear back from them. I'm sorry you view it as nonsense. Everyone involved with these groups put in a lot of time and effort in improving the lives of gays and lesbians. We want to highlight that work; We don't think it's nonsense.

I can't vote for Qrew Chicago because there's no such word as "qrew." tongue.gif
