Whatever happened to the good ole science speculation movies?

I really like Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and even the Sci fantasies. But this other stuff sends my fingers to the remote button.

Guess I'm just old fashion.

Most of the movies on the science-fiction channel are crap. I do like the "Ghoshunter" shows and I do find the leader of the international team attractive.
