After a one year hiatus it is beginning to look like there will be another Pride Night with the Jays. We've been approached to help Pride Toronto - who are working with Tourism Toronto, Tourism Ontario - and a six figure marketing budget - to try to attract more people to Toronto's Pride this year - and as part of that they are trying to create more diverse Pride related events to attract more tourists.

And apparently one of the ideas that is being discussed is to have a Pride night with the Jays - likely on Thursday June 25th against the Reds. There is still an outside chance it may be Friday night June 26th against the defending World Series Phillies, but because one of the goals of the increased marketing budget for Pride is to attract people for longer stays than just the weekend - organizers are leaning towards Thursday at this point. Plus some of the feedback they have received from locals leans slightly towards Thursday night as well - because there are already so many other Pride related events on the Friday night that many people locally who would likely attend on a Thursday night would not be able to do so on Friday night because of other commitments.
