Actually it's like 12, including 2 in the latter portions of the first round. They got one because they traded last year's first-round pick to Carolina for a later pick in 2008 and this year's first-rounder. They figured Carolina would suck and that it would be a high pick. Just like when they figured Greg Lewis and J.R. Reed could handle punts, or when they figured Todd Pinkston was a top receiver, they figured wrong.
The speculation in the media is that their most pressing needs are at running back and on the offensive line. I expect they'll try and get clever and trade a lot of their picks for even more picks next year or something.
