First teabagging and now 2M4M. An anti gay rights group has decided to call its marriage campaign "2M4M" (supposed to stand for 2 million for marriage). Once again...Rachel Maddow has pointed this out and said that if you google 2M4M, one of the recommendations that comes up will be a site called "Manhunt". ROFLMAO!!! Oh my GAWD...will someone please save these people from themselves. 2M4M??? Thats what they get. Bastards. That is too funny. And someone cleverly just created 2M4M.org and its a pro gay website for 2 men for marriage. Very clever. Someone please get them a lingo dictionary or something. I can't believe someone didn't pick up on that.

Now that the captain of that pirated vessel has been rescued perhaps we can at least have a few moments of respite from those wanting Obama to fail, if not from the teabagging nonsense.

If someone wants Obama to fail, they should leave this nation, post haste. We had eight years of hate in this nation, and look where that has gotten us.

People have every right to wish Obama's and our current government's failure, and they can express this verbally and visually as much as they want, so long as they aren't fomenting violent attacks, revolts, secessions, and so forth. Those are the nutsos to keep an eye on.

This whole teabagging "revolution," though, strikes me as intellectually incoherent. Some of these people are criticizing the stimulus package as robbery, so are they saying they want the nation to be in a depression? They are criticizing paying taxes even though President Obama's budget cuts taxes for the vast (more than 90%) of Americans, so what are they talking about? Also, did they complain like this when George W. Bush not only ended up raising the fiscal burden on middle-class and working-class Americans through his tax policies, endless and bungled war, and so on, and if not, why not? Why are they silent about the financial mess the previous administration created? Lastly, do they not realize that if our current administration, like Bill Clinton's, pulls us out of an economic disaster created by a Republican president and right-wing ideology, they will financially benefit in a major way, as occurred in the late 1990s? I haven't watched much TV of late and was out of the country during the teabagging festivals, but did any reporters or journalists ask these people basic questions about their ideology and beliefs, and press them on them?

The best I've seen is a piece on Jon Stewart's Daily Show where correspondent John Oliver humorously taunted the teabaggers with facts from US history that backhandedly questioned the legitimacy of their cause.

It seems Jon Stewart has gotten his mojo back.

Of course they didn't do this when Bush was President. He was white. I also don't believe that people suddenly reached a boiling point. The organizers tried to pull that "this isn't targeted at Obama" bullshyt but some of the signs I saw in some of those protests around the country were very, very racist. But, I'm not surprised. This was just a good opportunity for those who can't stand the idea of a black man in the White House to be able to demonstrate that. Its their right, but don't try and insult my intelligence by making me think many of them were there because they were upset about some damn taxes.
