If there were any doubts that Eurovision Song Contest was the gayest thing on the planet, this year's winner is a song called "Fairytale" (OK, it's about a guy who likes a girl), performed by Alexander Rybak, who was born in Minsk but competes for Norway, and who looks like one of those Eastern European porn stars (not that I would know what they look like ).

This song and performance is just so.... gay (in the gay=lame sense). And those backup dancers! I'm reminded of Madonna's backup dancers circa "Holiday." Either that, or they're Euro boy band cast-offs.

Really, how can the Europeans have such taste and class and culture, yet have such cheesy shows like Eurovision?
