Also, they aren't to NYC, its Newark, NJ, which is a good 20-30min train ride to the city.

The point about blackout dates is a good one. But if it's not the case, what it would mean is that someone has extra money to spend to buy a ticket on StubHub. Or perhaps someone has friends or family who have tickets. Or maybe there's some kid going to that school and now their parents have a cheaper option to go out and visit. And what's a little train ride? If I were getting a $9 flight I'd be willing to take the train from Philadelphia, which would take longer than 20-30 minutes.

I got it to open okay. Interesting. I should imagine Southwest isn't at ALL happy about this. I will be looking to see if my city gets added anytime soon.
