Are there any guys in here who actually like the Yanks? Have my tickets to the playoffs.

As a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan, we are trained to hate the Yankees... And I have learned it is unfair how the Yanks get more money than most teams. But life isn't fair. I have learned to accept the fact that at least in the last 10 years, the Yanks organization seems to be very professional, and Thorre is a good guy (at least he's Italian like me

. If Cleveland can't get the opportunity to knock off the Yanks, then I will hope the Yanks continue winning, especially this year with the tragedy.

Im going to game one of this series. Usually I like to go to the first game of the playoffs ( sort of exciting to be there for opening game), then try to go to a game where they may win the pennant or series. but hell whatever game i can go to really.

Sad to hear that you're rotten for the Yanks.

I like to watch the Yanks (sexy uniforms, Tino), but I don't like to see them win. Dammit, they have enough rings. I recommend disqualifying them from the post-season on principle.

Mike, I'll be at Game One of the Division Series, follwed hopefully by Game One of the ALCS, and Game Five of the World Series.
In 1999 I was at Game Four of the Series, which was the clincher. It was unbelievably electric; the sustained roar in the ninth inning was almost frighening - when you looked up you could see the upper deck moving. After the last out strangers were hugging and kissing in the stands. That was the night Yankee fans finally accepted Clemens after his clutch performance against the Braves. It was also the night O'Neill dropped to his knees and started crying in the outfield after the final out.

That's nothing new, O'Neill crys after every pitch doesn't he ?
Ouch. He was crying because his dad had passed away a few hours before the game.

I was aware of his Dad.
The fact is he is moody and argues every pitch.
He's not at all moody - he's ALWAYS in a bad mood.
He's also a consumate warrior. I'd gladly take two O'Neill's over eight Ripkens or Bonds.
