I am really, really, really sorry. I got the wrong date, I thought it was next Wednesday. I didn't realize my mistake until PhillyFan emailed late yesterday afternoon asking me to propose to GJ on his behalf, or buy her a martini or something like that. At that point my roommate was already on her way to pick me up to go get a Christmas tree for the house. Again, I'm really, really sorry I RSVPed and then didn't show. I feel terrible.

(For what it's worth, we ended up not getting a Christmas tree - decided real one was too much trouble, fake ones more than we wanted to spend, she wouldn't go along with the funky silver metallic tree I wanted to get, etc, etc., but I did end up spending $60 at Wal Mart on CDs and holidy decor.)
