I have to cosign on what Washdar is saying. How many minorities have made it into the final sixteen? final four of the KOTH contest? He is telling the truth. When Reggie Bush lost to some average white guy from the Falcons this year, I knew that it was over.

I would venture to guess that the majority of users here are white. I'd also venture to guess that the majority of people (white, black, Latino, Asian, whatever) tend to be attracted to people of their own race. It doesn't make it a racial issue. I bet if there was a gay, majority-black website, the winners and finalists of any kind of contest like KOTH would be black and the whites would be eliminated early. And there is a thread about Hot NBA players in the Hot Jock forum and there seems to be a pretty good amount of love being shown for several black players. Stop trying to stir up some kind of controversy that just isn't there. You can't regulate what turns people on.

I see your pt but Washdar's post accused "alot (as he put it)" of OSers as not being open-minded. Over the years just about every race has been represented. The KOTH contestants/winners have been a matter of taste, not cuz of racism, or closed-minded people here. That's the way his post reads. In terms of Bush, perhaps you & others were in the minority when he was eliminated. I just don't see an intentional racial conspiracy. Just sayin...

I see what washdar is saying, but not in the way it was said. This is a site that is frequented by majority white users so what else would you expect? Most people are attracted to people of their own background. It doesn't make them close minded. We like what we like. When I want flava added to the hot jock section, or any section for eye candy, I add it. Of course, I am equal opportunity. Cute is cute. I am attracted to men of all races. I just have a preference for black and latino men. I fulfill that need on predominantly black/latino websites where I know the eye candy I see is going to be men of color all the time.

As for the King of the Hardwood contest, like After Elton Hot 100, its about who is voting for that stuff so its not a surprise that there are only a couple black guys in there. But go to Rod 2.0 or MostProper and trust and believe you will get your fill of men of color. There are options for celebrating men of color. Thats why there are black oriented websites and magazines. Hell...we even have separate gay pride parades to get your fill of "brotha-ly" love.

Ok..fine..good dandy! Everyone has their taste. People are attracted to the race they are most exposed to. But regardless, I feel there is something to be said about one who see beauty through different races. And again, I didnt say everyone who post on these forums are mostly attracted to white men. Again though...depends on taste. I'm sure there are many people who are into blondes who would choose Cameron over Halle. I do not find her attractive. Something about her face I just don't like. Same with Jennifer Aniston, who many think is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I think she's very plain and am definitely on team Jolie. I prefer dark haired women. There are only a few blonde men and women I'm attracted to. Heidi Klum and Scarlett Johannsen are the only two that come to mind right now. I'm trying to think of any blonde guys I'm attracted to and I can't even seem to think of any one right now. And then you've got the segment who are not into women of color period, although I find that Halle often falls under that "exception to the rule" clause.
