I could definitely be convinced of playing on an Outsports team. My shot was once pretty dangerous, but I haven't played much in the last two years. I'm all about defense, baby. At 6'2, I usually play a small forward.

Sounds good Cyd! Anybody else? Lets get this party started! Does anybody know how much it costs?

I'll be there playing and plan to steel Z's usually high rebound stats.
I think the idea of an Outsports team is great!

wait, he said he can throw and "alley opp" and now i'm concerned. do we give him the benefit of the doubt and call it a typo??

I don't know, maybe the opps in the alley are better than the oops on the court :-)

LOL Sorry! Anybody else interested in starting an Outsports team? It could be a lot of fun! A chance to meet new friends, and kick some butt!

good luck this weekend zman and curt. i just had knee surgery so i couldn't make this one.
played in the boston tournament last year and met some great guys. (say hello to rob s. from greg...he's a 6'7" left-handed white guy...you can't miss him. one of my favorite guys)
there's a tournament in atlanta over memorial day weekend, i believe.
hey, curt or zman...maybe one of you could write up some kind of tournament report for the outsports site to give a little of the tournament flavor to some of the members who've never been?
being a team sport, it can be really hard to get involved in gay basketball without knowing local people who play. i must say i went to a tournament where i knew nobody and just had the best time. i would encourage anybody else to try it if they like to hoop.
