Hi -- does anyone know how to get information on the physique competition (aka "bodybuilding") at the Gay Games in Cologne (2010)? I'm interested in participating but don't know where to get info. I wouldn't want to book the trip and register for the event if, for some reason, it wasn't going to happen. Thanks, guys!

I'm just back from a meeting on bodybuilding at GGVIII, and can assure that it will take place. We had a venue visit at the main auditorium of the German Sports University at Sportpark Muengersdorf, where more than 50% of athletes and 50% of sports events will take place. The stage is great, and the backstage area ample. There are of course details to be worked out, and more details on the event (and all other sports) will be made available as available. I was very pleased to meet again the local expert who is organizing the logistics. He's an experienced official and promoter from a major German bodybuilding federation.
