Ok Guys...I have a challenge for you. I'm trying to remember the name of a tv show and it's driving me nuts that I can't remember it. It was a dark comedy show.
It was about 2 retired spies, a good one and a bad one, who lived next door to each other. At the end of each show, one of them would be killed and then would be back on the next week, which was it's tongue-in-cheek appeal, I guess. The good spy looked a bit like Michael Vartan. The bad guy had a long lean build, very short dark hair and goatee and a very deep sexy voice.
The show lasted for maybe 2 years, if that. Does this sound familiar to anybody? This is driving me nuts!!!

Sounds like it was based on Mad magazine's Spy vs. Spy feature. Wikipedia's entry on Spy vs. Spy said nothing about a TV show based on your description, but they do have
a list of shows that have been shown on USA.

There was "Mr. and Mr. Smith," which was about two spies pretending to be a suburban, married couple. That starred Scott Bakula. It aired in the mid-90s on CBS, but didn't last a season.

Thanks guys for the info. After a very long, exhaustive search, while also watching my Marlins playing the Yanks, I found the show. It was called "The War Next Door." It was only on for the first year.
