I just got back from a trip to India. It was so lovely there. The country is such a contrast. Incredible wealth on one hand and abject, unimaginable poverty on the other. The people are very friendly and courteous and a vast amount speak superb English. The British empire certainly left their language in India. I visited several important historical sites such as the Taj Mahal. The highlight of my trip was visiting the 57 feet statue of the Jain saint Bahubali. This staute is of a great prince who gave up his kingdom to his brother. I would recommend a trip to India to anyone who likes to travel the world. The food is superb. I am a vegetarian and India has a long tradition of vegetarianism. NAMASTE AND SHANTI.
