I will miss that soap. Its had a 77 year history. The storylines are great especially Olivia and Natalia's lesbian love story. Jeff Branson who plays Shane is totally hot. His voice is so deep and manly. He's a hunk. A gorgoues hunk. And lovely blue eyes. I had hoped that CBS would change their minds and keep GL on the air but alas they have not. RIP GUIDING LIGHT.

Olivia and Natalia are a great lesbian couple on the show. The actress who plays Olivia has already been cast on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. So at least she will still be acting.

Guiding Light ends its long run this week. Although I was never a big fan, I'm saddened because of its cancellation. It means any soap is vulnerable to the same fate.

I'm amazed at how many celebs acted on Guiding Light before becoming big stars today.

I've watched it on and off for over 40 years, so I'm sad to see it go. I'm DVR'ing the final episode for old time's sake.




Bummer.

The last episode was so dreadful. The only good thing was that Olivia an Natalia finally are a proper lesbian couple. But Reva never even knew that Jeffrey O'neal is alive and well. She ended up with Josh. The last episode seriously sucked. Too bad.
