The actor playing the cop is Scott Evans. He's the younger brother of Chris Evans from the Fantastic Four movie and he is openly gay. Here's an interview with him from AfterElton:

Oooopsie! I just ruined it for my novelero (Spanish for 'soap opera watcher') bf. He watches OLTL so I just said to him that "Fish" is gonna have a relationship w/ Kyle. I forgot he doesn't like spoilers. Oh well!

At any rate, he did say that their characters on OLTL were once bfs in college so...Oh, & also, my bf said that Kyle is a "piece of work". Can we say, "WeHo queen!"

OLTL was the only soap I watched on a regular basis until they decided that they needed several stories of teen angst to carry the show. One Life to Live had done a wonderful story on a gay teenager in the mid 90s and the young man known as Billy Douglas was portrayed by none other than Ryan Phillipe.

I liked the episode on Coming Out Day. The town had a celebration for gay people with Oliver, Kyle, Nick, and the mayor (Dorian) who is allegedly/pretending to be gay.

For those of you who missed today episode, Kyle and Oliver consummated their relationship today. Sure I would have like to have seen more hot action, but oh well, it was still pretty damned good.

HuffingtonPost.com posted a YouTube of the big love scene. It's rather yawn-inducing, but I guess it's important as a first for daytime TV.

I guess if we want to see hardcore porn on daytime soaps yeah it's rather yawn-inducing.

...& let's get real, where were the shots of some true-life bulges during their petting sessions.

Actually, the scene, imho, was sweet. I guess it's supposed to "show" romantic intimacy rather than full on hardcore hawt sex.

Well...once again the gays are getting the ax. "Kish" are being scrapped from the show. I am pissed. It was the thing that got me interested in One Life to Live again.
