Today Saturday 8/8/09 The UFC presents its latest event UFC 101 Declaration. The fights will take place at the Wachovia center in Philadelphia. The only really notable fights are the light heavy weight titel defend by BJ Penn against Kenny Florian and the light heavy weight bout between Anderson Silva and my favorite fighter Forrest Griffin. BJ Penn comes from a defeat in welterweight where we once again exposed several cracks in his performance. Anderson Silva emerges from two fights that lacked the excitement and dominance he displayed in the past and Griffin continues to struggle to find his place coming from a losing his LH title to Rashad Evans (since Evans lost the tiles to Lyotto Machita).
