The team of French decathletes, Nadir EL Fassi, Mateo Sossah and Romain Barras, is shamelessly taking advantage of poor Tray Hardee who did nothing but win the world champiohship in decathlon.


But Romain is being selfish and reserves the best part for himself alone.

Damn! Barras even looks like he has a boner in that second pic where he has a good view of Hardee's crotch, which it looks like he's either trying to grab - or trying to avoid?

Good thing Old Faithful fluttered up to block his view in the third pic.

Trey's goods are saved from a cheese-eater by a patriotic icon.

Then again it's pretty obvious from OSSF1's last photo (Trey coming down from the pole vault) that he's "cut" so there's probably not much in the way cheese in there anywho!

Finneye, I know this is of-topic for this thread but could you give a translation of what is written beneath photo number "35" of sports car drive Valentino Rossi [sic?] who has one finger in his mouth and the other in his ear?

It looks both sexy and ominous. In other photos he looks like a barely pubescent skateboarder.

Is that behavior just some commonly known childish taunt, or some peculiarly Italian thing?

It looks like he's wetting his ears so his earplugs will set before a race. If you don't make a seal, the plugs won't stay in place.

I think "Friendly" Drozdov is my favorite.

A deletion of an IAAF rule has caused a tightening of the allowable wind-aided scores in the decathlon, and has been roundly criticized by the four most recent USA champions of the sport. Since USA meets are often held in the windy midwest, and during Spring (a windy time of year with the temperature changing), it could make it more difficult for decathletes competing in USA meets to have qualifying scores. This could have an especially damaging affect on the career of Trey Hardee who just last year set his first "Season's best" point total among all decathletes in the world. Other USA winners, Bryan Clay, Dan O'Brien and Bruce Jenner all went on to win the title at least once more. It will be a pity if Hardee decides to give up the sport before he can win again because of the new rule change.
