Today Saturday August 28 2009 the UFC will be presenting its latest event UFC 102. It will be conducted at at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. Relatively underwhelming set of fights headlined by the match between Nogueira and Coture and in my opinion both well past their prime.

So Nogueira defeats Coture on a Unanimous decision and Marquart knocks out Maia on the first round.

Vera and Herman, particularly Herman, are in danger of getting cut by the UFC. The Vera loss is a big surprise. Maia losing is a bummer -- that guy is genius.
