While I do not condone violence against women, this case almost makes me want to make an exception to the rule. Shawne Merriman was arrested for choking his girlfriend and skankasaurus Tila Tequila.

I was watching Around the Horn on ESPN earlier & there was a fair consensus amongst the panelists that Merriman will prolly be let go by the Chargers by the end of the season, if not earlier. They basically went off about his past off-field behavior & that "enough was enough." We'll see...
