Just wanted to know if anybody here is using TW/Road Runner internet service & what you think of it? I'm thinking about switching from AT&T to TW cuz they have a decent deal goin on right now. Plus, I'd be able to get rid of my lan line. Thanks.

So I decided to go w/ TW for my internet service. Wow! What a difference. Really fast connectivity to websites, Firefox, etc. & the sales rep told me that their gonna almost double the speed soon. Basically I decided to go w/ TW was cuz I got an excellent deal for a year for cable/wireless internet service (& it's only gonna go up $5 after that). I'm gonna call AT&T tomorrow & cancel my home # & internet service. I rarely use my home phone any more. Trying to save as much monthly right now.

...I had a slight glitch tho but was it solved. I bought my own wireless router (TW charges $50 for one & then an extra $5 per month to use it) & had to set it up. The TW cable guys that came by earlier today wanted to charge $60. I thought, "Yeah right." At any rate, I simply called the router tech support & they walked me thru it. It was up & running w/in 15 minutes.
