'Skins could be the NFL's worst team.
Sounds silly at 2-4. But they've played the following teams in the last five weeks: St. Louis, Detroit, Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Kansas City. They are 2-3 in that stretch with 2 very unimpressive wins over St. Louis (9-7) and the Bucs(16-13) at home.....

According to the paper the Redskins are the first team ever to play winless opponents in their first 6 games (though, technically, everyone was winless in week 1) -- so they've now given 4 teams their first win of 2009.

The Redskins are a really bad team, so I'm assuming there's no comeback coming when I say this: if the Eagles hadn't lost that game to the Raiders they'd be in first place in the division by a half-game going into the Sunday game against the Giants.

YEAH BABY!!! Its always great to go into an NFC East rival's home and celebrate a Philly win!! The Redskins fans were utterly disgusted with the poor play of their boys and it seemed like just when something positive for them was about to happen, the Deadskins went and f*cked it up. Lets see there was the strip fumble on Campbell, the muffed punt, and the fumble on 4th down in the 4th right when the Deadskins were about to score. Thats when we decided to leave. At that point I knew it was over. Great game. The people who surrounded us were absolutely hilarious and very cordial being as though the boyfriend and I are Eagles fans.
There was a very attractive older (probably late 40s to around 50) Latino guy wearing a Cowboys jersey behind me who was so trying to hit on me. He tried that "Whats your name? You look familiar...where are you from...I've seen you around somewhere before". Ummm...no papi...I have never seen you in my life and you have never seen me. Even my boyfriend picked up that he was tryin to holla. But he was cute so thats ok. He looked better for his late 40s to 50 age than some of these 20 somethin ragamuffins I see walkin around here who think they can roll out of bed with some crappy jeans and a "vintage" tshirt on and think they cute.
Anywho...I'm wandering. The game was very nice but whoever does the traffic needs to be in the people who should be shot list. It took us forever to get off of 95 into the stadium. Getting out was better but still a mess. Plus I told the boyfriend to gas up the truck right before we went into the stadium but he said we'd be fine. So while we were stuck trying to get in the gas light came on. I was so worried we were going to run out of gas trying to leave the stadium, but like I said...getting out was a bit better than I thought.
The Redskins as a whole are a mess and the Eagles had too many sloppy drives as well. Donovan still throwin passes at people's damn feet. They will have to play better to beat the Giants. Then again...I think the Giants have some of their own questions that need answering. They suddenly look rather average. Oh and having my binoculars to get closeups of tatted hottie Redskins WR Devin Thomas made the night.
E-A-G-L-E-S......EAGLES!!!!!!
P.S....I couldn't help it but this hot guy stood next to me in the urinal and well...yeah I took a peek and when I say thick and long....yeah...papi was thick and long and uncut with just the right amount of foreskin. (Yes I got that good of a look) Very yummy looking. The whole thing was funny though because he was clearly showing off. At one point he took one hand off of it and started texting on his phone and leaned back a bit. So when I pulled the handle I looked over at him and told him to stop showing off and he just smiled. I swear...men are a trip.

I thought this was a rather funny (and interesting) commentary in the Washington Post:
Redskins ban signs at FedEx Field Even a "D" and a fence are banned, apparently.
QUOTE
Now it's me snooping through garbage cans to see what signs have been trashed, while a security guard screams at me "Get out of that garbage can! Get out of that garbage can!" I finally backed away, but I still uncovered about a dozen trashed signs, and saw many more that were just too soaked with beer to unveil.

Best week Giants have had in over a month. Losses by Dallas, Philly, Chicago and Altanta keeps us right in the thick of things, especially if we can bounce back next week at home against a struggling Falcons team perhaps without one of the best RB's in the league (unsure of Turner's status after leaving the game today)

The thing that surprised me about Cutler was how negative he was on the field. Constant hissy sh*t fits, making all kinds of faces and gestures. If the QB is doing that - it sets a bad vibe for the team. Now I see why he was such a problem in Denver.
The Eagles were lucky to win that game. But, as Dallas and NYG fans are also saying this morning - a win is a win.

F*ckin Eagles set a bad starting tone with that dumb ass onside kick to start the game. Why? So unnecessary the way the Eagles destroyed the Redskins at home on Monday night this season. Now the Eagles haven't done diddly squat for 2+ quarters. 3 and outs, dropped balls, stalling inside the red zone. Redskins have a good defense so the Eagles need to get something going. If they lose to the Redskins I will be too through. The Raiders and the Redskins this season? Two of the worst teams in the league? Come on.

I had on the radio broadcast rather than listen to Tony Siragusa's stupidity as part of the TV broadcast, and there was a sideline report that said that the Eagles won the opening coin toss and Andy Reid wanted to receive the kickoff, but because of some miscommunication the Eagles deferred. That may have been why Reid then went for the onside kick. Either way, it was unbelievably moronic.

The Falcons really sucked and many people started leaving. That's why the crowd turned more to cheers than boos. From what I could hear (both on TV and radio) it was more booing than cheers when he first went in.

The Falcons really looked bad today especially with Matt Ryan out. Whether the atmosphere got him going or just the bad Altanta defense, Mike Vike actually had his first relevant game of the year thowing a TD and running one in. I wonder if Andy will let him pass more on future occasions or if he was just throwing him a "hometown" bone today.
Next week will be real interesting with Dallas, Philly and NYG all within a game of each other. There could even be a three way tie for first.

Then there is Washington who I really thought would break the Saints perfect season, but as bad teams do, the Skins fell apart at the end.

As sure as the cliff swallows of Capistrano leave for winter vacation every year, so do the Dallas Cawboys who continue their annual December swoon. Cowgirls and a loss in December is not a surprise and the Deadskins are out of the picture. Eagles must win at home against San Fran and Denver. They need to be wary of any team trying to play spoiler. Nothing is wrapped up yet. Finish up away at Dallas and at that time they hopefully would have picked up wins against San Fran and Denver.

Eagles defense was scary bad for much of the game. Missed tackles, dumb penalties, poor coverage. That has to be corrected. As explosive as the offense looks at times, I don't think it's consistent enough to win shootouts like tonight's game if the defense isn't better.
