According to some mystics a better greeting might be "Enjoy it while you can?" Apparently like many others
the Jewish Calendar is said to have an "end" - or at least the end of a cycle:

Looks like the Hindu calendar has bombed out - so to speak - but there's lots more for those pessimists out there to hang on to. Personally I like the Mayan calendar's date because that's the year of the London Olympics and the next presidential election here. Nice.
