Shan Tova Umetukah to all who celebrate Rosh Hashanah. My best female friend is Jewish and the boyfriend and I went to her mother's house for dinner last night, which is always a good time. Talk about DELICIOUS!!! So much food...I was stuffed. The brisket is my favorite. I love participating in other people's cultural customs and traditions.

My husband and I are vegetarian Jews. So are most of our families. We have some delicous traditional foods ala vegan. Delicous. We have been making our dinners multicultural with Sephardic, Ashkenazic and mizrahi foods including Ethiopian Jewish foods. We try to make the food healthy, humane and delicous. MAZEL TOV. I didn't realize that a similar posting is on real life but it's good to wish everyone happy holiday twice. smile.gif

There's something about Jewish mom's and Brisket. I dated a Jewish boy briefly and while there's a lot of things negative about his mom, being a bad host and bad cook would not be amoung them.
