HELLZ YEAH BABY!!! I knew I'd be able to count on Rex Ryan not to pull that pussy Prevent defense late in the game. Woulda, coulda, shoulda but the Pats should be 0-2. Thanks a lot Buffalo

Wonderful game...and Sanchez is hotter

I'm the lone Giants fan from my family, aside from my Dad, who is a huge fairweather fan for all NY teams, but I'm happy for the Jets. I used to hate them and their fans going so far as to cheer when they lost in the playoffs due to a missed FG, but now that they have a good core of players, a coach that can walk the walk, I'm glad that they are 3-0.

All I can say is that my ex, who's a fUcla fan, was trying to rub it in when Mark left for the NFL, cuz that meant for him that fUcla wouldn't face Marky one more year. But lil did he know that the Jets would beat the Patriots. He's from New England & a HUGE Patriots fan. Oh well! I guess Mark has cont to haunt his football heart one way or another.

Everybody is going on about the Saints offesne but that New Orleans defense is pretty underrated IMO. And playing in that dome as a rookie is no easy feat. Sanchez will be alright but the hype about him being San-chise or Fran-chez needs to calm down a bit and let the kid develop.

What happened to the Jets defense? Mark played better than last game, but after a hot start its like reality has come. Winnable games coming up but that was a tough loss last night. What a 4th quarter though and it looks like Sanchez/Braylon Edwards could be something that makes the Jets more of a threat.
SCTrojan
Oct 13 2009, 11:41 AM
Yep! It was the defense that lost the game.

That last drive by the Dolphins was utterly ridiculous. Talk about a swiss cheese defense. Ugh!
& I figured that the the Sanchez/Edwards combo would become a big threat. Mark had big time playmakers @ SC just like Edwards so I wasn't that surprised honestly. Plus you have to consider the fact that they've been only practicing w/ one another for about a week or so. They're just gonna get better!

jets defense was unprepared. they couldn't solve the wildcat offense of the phins. i didn't think the jets defense was that great anyway. good, but not great. mark had a nice game, but he was only 12 for 24 for 174 yards.
mark/braylon is probably the hottest QB-WR combo in the NFL.

That is for sure re: the hot combo of Sanchez/Edwards. Braylon Edwards' body is SICK!!!!!! There have been a lot of rumors about his sexuality as well (e.g.
Braylon Edwards and his close male companion) Hopefully he'll fare better in NY.

Hmmm...looks like we hyped Sanchez up a bit too much early on. Great start but 3 straight losses to put them at 3-3. Sanchez had 5 interceptions in this game. YIKES Mark!!! And NY is one of those sports towns that loves you one minute and loathes you the next. Gotta deal with it though. But bad loss to the Bills.

But 5 interceptions!!! Get your ass in gear. Also loved the comment that Sanchez is not used to playing in temperatures of less than 55 degrees!

Ummmm! Mark played in the states of OR, WA, the Bay Area, etc. where the weather could include any combo of rain, snow, heavy fog, lots of wind, temps below 55 degrees... That's simply a silly analysis/criticism.
You can also argue that Mark has played in the middle of a REALLY HOT AZ desert. Let's see teams play in both extreme types of temps/weather & still be successful. Just sayin...

I know there were 2 punt returns, but how in the hell can the Jets still lose a game where the total net yardage was so clearly lopsided: 104 v. 378?

The scrubby Jets are in position to be in the playoffs only because they were lucky enough to run up against a team who sat their star QB and other starters. The wild card positions for the AFC will be which scrub can stumble in. Denver, Baltimore, Houston, NY??...take your pick. They are all a mess.

Dec 28 2009, 12:36 AM
yeah, the AFC is unbelievably mediocre. jets were dead six weeks ago and everyone just started losing. even the dead steelers rose from the dead.
giants on the other hand are in the toughest division in football.
i'm not a jets fan, but still excited that mark has a chance to atone for earlier rookie mistakes.
