We watched the pilot tonight! Definitely worth watching! laugh.gif

Was pleasantly surprised at how funny this show is! The best part of it all is the fact that there is no canned laughter. I really hope it lasts. The "Lion King" scene was a riot.

Yeah I liked it too. There are so many cast members that I've liked in other things before like Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. And the show that came on right after (Cougar Town) was pretty funny too.

I wish they didn't run this show opposite Glee. I was flipping back and forth and didn't entirely understand either show blink.gif but will check it out again.

Last night's episode was not as funny as the pilot. The "parent's dance" scene was good. I can't believe how nice these people's houses are!

I thought last night was still very funny...not as good as the pilot, I agree. It's not quite in a league with 30 Rock or The Office or Curb Your Enthusiasm but it's a very funny show. Now the second episode of Cougartown was a real fall off from the pilot.

Do you have Hulu.com access?

Solves the problem for me.

Liking both of the shows.

Also enjoying Cougar Town.

I've watched both episodes of this show. Mildly amusing, but I'm not sure it's something I'll keep watching.

Hulu is unavailable outside of the United States. When I try to go there (from Canada) it says: We're sorry, currently our video library can only be streamed from the United States.

I'm not really interested in taping shows, either, as I don't really have time to watch shows at other times. I'm annoyed, too, that these shows are coming on on Wednesdays, as I am busy for the next four Wednesdays (going to Raptors pre-season game next Wednesday; movie at a film festival the following Wednesday; movie screening the following Wednesday; Raptors season opener the following Wednesday which I'll be watching on TV).

Is abc.com also unavailable outside the USA? I believe ABC shows are on their own site and not on Hulu.

I went to ABC.com and it said this: You appear to be outside the United States or its territories. Due to international rights agreements, we only offer this video to viewers located within the United States and its territories. mad.gif

Fox.com says this: Thank you for your interest in FOX. This episode is currently only available to viewers living in the United States. mad.gif

==========

Just discovered I can stream Glee on Global, which shows the show in Canada. Need to find if I can stream on a Canadian network website.

I agree too! I'll watch a few more episodes & then decide if it's worth my time.

I think that part of the draw back of the show (not necessarily for me, however) is that the comedy is dry humor. Unless you like or understand it then it will not be that appealing to many people. Generally speaking, I think that Americans like other types of comedic approaches...Also, for many Americans dry humor = British humor.

Last night's episode was better than the 2nd. There were some pretty funny scenes.

I loved last night too...this show is a keeper for me. It's the funniest new comedy since 30 Rock IMO.

IMHO, tonight's episode was f**king hysterical. The best this season so far! laugh.gif
