Kevin Jennings is a respected educator and glbt activist. Now he is the white house school safety czar. The homophobic right of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Focus on the Family and American Family Association want him fired. When Jennings was a teacher and only 24 he counselled a gay 15 year old boy. This boy mentioned that he was having gay sex with an older man. I don't know how old the man was. Jennings did not report this to the child protective services or the kid's parents. Now the religous right and fascists accuse Jennings of being pro pedophilia. Jennings was only 24 at the time. He was a new teacher. He made mistakes but he is not a pro pedophile. We in the glbt movement must support Kevin Jennings.

Why must we? Just because he's gay?
