I absolutely can't stand these. For whatever reason, cosmetically enhanced, glistening, pearly-white teeth just creep me out. Something about it seems so unnatural. Don't get me wrong, I don't like stained yellow teeth either, but there is a happy middle ground. IMO unless you are a raging alcoholic or have kidney disease your teeth should be the same shade of white as the white in your eyes.
Anyway, thoughts? Is this an attractive look?

Did you ever see the episode of "Friends", when Ross had his teeth whitened and they literally glowed in the dark! Hilarious! I agree...sometimes, too much of a good thing is NOT a good thing.

I agree that super white just doesn't look quite right, but I have bleaching trays and bleach my teeth every 6 months. They aren't super white but I drink too much Starbucks and am worried about them staining.

I agree with Dr. Terp, nasty yellow teeth are far scarier than white ones. As a coffee drinker and gay man I find that I have to whiten my teeth to stay competitive.

After I get married, then I'll let myself go.

I've heard that constantly bleaching them can cause them to stain much more easily. Careful, because nature got it right the first time around.

Miller I hear what you are saying but the same thing could be said about "nature" and using toothpaste instead of baking soda or baking soda instead of nothing at all. Or flossing versus doing nothing. When my Dad grew up they used to chew tar when roads got paved because pure tar whitened your teeth and they didn't have a dentist. You just gotta live at some point.

Yellowing teeth is actually a natural part of aging and not harmful at all. Yes, white teeth look better but it's a cosmetic concern. Clean healthy teeth aren't always white.
