Very good episode tonight with Hector Elizondo playing the father of the lesbian character, Torres (played by Sara Ramirez). Her father came with a priest to "pray the gay away" and when he started quoting how homosexuality is an abomination in the Bible, she got up and gave quotes back to him about not judging, not casting the first stone, and how Jesus is her savior, not her father, and how Jesus would be ashamed at him for turning his back on her. Very powerful scene!!

Why is the show filmed so dark? I thought hospitals were supposed to be bright and lit up.
I heard that's why it was called Grey's Anatomy.
What happened to Meredith? I missed last week's show. I know she's suppose to be on maternity leave soon.

Yikes, that scene between Cali and her father? The dialogue sounded like a bad after-school special. Who the f*ck wrote that cliched pile of cow-plop?? If Sara Ramirez and Hector Elizondo weren't such terrific actors, it would have been the most excruciating two minutes in GA history. But I did like Arizona's little talk with the father. At first the Arizona character came off as too Katie Couric perky, but I'm liking her more and more.
So no more Izzy Stevens ... wow. After all the speculation in the off-season about whether Katherine Heigl and TR Knight would remain on the show, it turns out both are goners. It frees Heigl up to do all the bad romantic comedies her heart desires (sorry but I actually saw "The Ugly Truth" and I puked!), and it frees up Knight to do, uh, prolly not a whole lot.

I did a search for
this video to see if anyone had posted it. I came up w/
nada. At any rate I thought it was too funny.
