I've fallen out of the habit of watching
Brothers & Sisters, so it was to my surprised that I caught a bit of the show last night and saw a gorgeous Frenchman doing the tango... with Justin! Apparently, this suave and friendly Luc is the new love interest for Sarah, and he is sweeping the entire Walker family off their feet. The character is played by Gilles Marini, who played Dante, Samantha's neighbor in the
Sex and the City movie, and was also on
Dancing with the Stars (which I don't watch). So from that we know he can dance and we know he is, uh, built.
It was funny to see the Walker clan (male and female) ogling him as he got out of their pool. But then, who can blame them?

And Kitty has cancer. Please, TV Gods, let it be fatal.

Dave Annabelle or something like that is an adorable Justin, and watching him dance with Giles Marini was sooo hot. I want a threesome with them!

Luc's drop dead gorgeous and their reactions were entirely appropriate! I've liked this season thus far. I liked Kitty's park buddy last year but I think the show works better with Lowe and Flockhart in love. The Kevin/Scottie story line about their readiness to have a child has been good.

This season has been great, and I did enjoy Dave dancing with Gilles. Justin has this cute thing about him that made it that much better.

The scene with Julia in the last episode were amazing! I almost started crying; really feel for Elizabeth...

Wow!! The finale last night was something!! Saul has HIV after all. That was a deep scene when Kevin approached a bleeding Saul at the accident scene and Saul said he couldn't be touched. The look on Nora and Kevin's face said it all. I guess its Robert that dies, even though they still left it open that it could be Holly. I don't know if Robert died when he stopped talking and eyes were open, but they could write it so that he has brain damage or something. I think my mother said he wasn't supposed to come back next year. I haven't watched it as faithfully this season as I have the others, but I still enjoy it when I do catch it.

I really enjoy this show- I like the writing and the plot twists. Keep up the concerned faces Sally Fields! (She makes this show - IMHO)

Rob Lowe announced some time ago he was leaving the series, so there's no doubt he's dead. Pity they didn't kill off Kitty simultaneously. Holly? who knows......with Ojai gone there's really no logical reason to keep the character around (except that her husband is the director). Apparently next season will open with a one year flash forward.

I think Robert dies, because if you look closely, some object appeared to have impaled the left side of his head, causing that bleeding gash of a wound.

He's not returning to the show, so he probably does. He already has a new gig on Parks & Recreation w/ Amy Pohler

Brothers and Sisters
cancelled. I must admit I hadn't watched it in a long time, but I did catch a bit of the last
episode. I forgot how gorgeous that cast is. And did I see Richard Chamberlain as Uncle Saul's love interest?

Damn! Yet another show I liked canceled. First it's
The Chicago Code (I just liked the look and feel of the city in that show), then
V, now
Brothers and Sisters. Meanwhile, these mindless, unfunny, laugh track-filled sitcoms still remain.

I am glad the sitcoms are on because then it would be competition and reality shows galore. But the damn reality shows are the ones that need to go. How many Bachelors and f**king Bachelorettes do we need? And Wipeout is tired, too.
I love Brothers and Sisters and am going to miss it. Can I have Nora's kitchen and house though?

Brothers and Sisters had gotten so tired. It was good at first but one paternity test after another? I think they staretd to rival Maury Povich's show for the most "Who's Your Daddy" episodes. Plus two of the five kids were barely on the show anymore. The season finale worked just fine as a series finale.
As for laugh track-fileld sitcoms, there are plenty of great comdies sans the canned laughs...Modern Family, Cougar Town, 30 Rock, The Office and my new favorite Parks and Recreation. I don't think I've watched a sitcom with a laugh track since I stopped watching Will & Grace.

I enjoyed this show a lot and will miss it. Yes, that was Richard Chamberlain and I would have liked to see their wedding, too (they seemingly decided to get married this last show, too).

I watched every season of Brothers and Sisters and I am a little disappointed in it being cancelled. I do think it was getting stale though. Desperate Housewives is almost unwatchable now. I am not sure why that got renewed!!

I loved the family banter on the show, but that was in the first few seasons. This past season they lost that dialogue magic and I think that hurt the show, adding on top all the oh-so-dramatic plot twists. It was getting so soapy. The only saving grace about this season is the always adorable Dave Annabelle and watching his character keep the family together. He had all the funny lines.

I agree with you. It became too formulaic. The obligatory and overly familiar scene of the week's plot line being shared on every character's mobile. Still I'm easy and enjoyed the show, despite the departure of Patricia Wetting. I'll miss seeing Sally Field and Dave Annabele especially.
