Hmm. After starting this thread I noticed that I had not come upon a single white player at the position during a google search and wondered if there were any.

Well it appears I'm not alone.

Apparently a website devoted to such issues - and whose authors seem certain they have found the reason for the absents of white or other non-black players in some sports positions - is wholely obsessed with it.

Caste Football seems innocent enough on the surface, but as with any discussion about race in the USA it quickly deteriorates into the usual mudslinging when the Discussion Forum gets specific.

These guys - and I assume most are young men - are risking seeming like just another bunch of SWAMPS (Straight White Angry Male Propagandists) living in an internet bubble.

We have certainly had these discussions on this Board, and it has become equally intense. But these guys seem so isolated that none even consider that cornerback is an unglamorous grunt position that simply doesn't have as much sex appeal to most professional athletes, and the rewards are not worth the pain.

Given the Outsports board bias toward white players can we enjoy the hot pics and not talk about race? Please??

I'm not even gonna touch this one re: the race thing cuz I don't feel like starting anything. I, too will just enjoy the pictures.

I was too busy checking out Johnson's johnson to even notice. Now, back to THAT pic! As for the SWAMPS, it's like that with the President, too. Just doesn't seem to matter to some people how successful or sexy they are, all they see is color. Such a pity. Life is much more wonderful when you can appreciate color.

When local Philly boy Brent Grimes made that interception of a Drew Brees past in the fourth quarter last night it must have been the highest his ass had been in the air since fellow Falcons cornerback Christopher Owens hoisted him in the air during training camp.



It's a testament to Brees' skill and endurance that it took such an athletic effort to catch one of his passes that late in the game.

Patrick Chung's not exactly a cornerback, but he is a safety - and aren't they all defensive backs? Chung's about the only Duck I can stomach, but now that he's in the NFL, it gets easier to slobber after him.



Not normally a fan of goatees, but I'm diggin' his fu manchu along with his wang chung.


I had some nice pics of Chung in wet-see thru white pants from that monsoon game at Cal last year, but can't find 'em right now. Maybe someone will help me out.

It does make the point more humorously that in his original response to Cosmo: "..beautiful mind and great conversation is.." he got the verb wrong while at the same time requiring that a "woman" he dates should have a "beautiful mind" and supply him with "great conversation". Not that great conversation requires a beautiful mind, mind you. But did TO make other errors in his response like.....gender?

I should add that I do not want to leave out other defensive playas. Though few linemen are my body type, there are, or were, some notable exceptions:
