Total 80's hilarousness. I'd never heard it before. Thanks to your link, I discovered another Jabara song, Honeymoon in Puerto Rico and, because of that one, I found Decoupage's Puerto Rico. I bet those two songs were played to death at Bachelor - the premier gay club in San Juan in the late 70's and early 80's - and The Flying Saucer. I gotta ask a friend of mine who used to frequent them.

My partner and I had our pre-honeymoon there and, as the Jabara song goes, love was definitely "HOT!" in Puerto Rico.
